Payhip vs Gumroad for Excel templates
Both Payhip and Gumroad sell digital files — including Excel workbooks — with instant download after checkout. The better fit depends on fees, payout preferences, and how you want the product page to feel. Neither platform replaces the spreadsheet itself.

Fee schedules change. Confirm current rates on each platform’s official site before you list. This page is a shopper/seller comparison, not financial advice.
What does not change
- The Excel file is the same zip either way
- Yellow input cells and gray formulas still work offline after download
- No macros means fewer “enable content” friction points for buyers
- Support is still “open in Excel / LibreOffice and replace sample rows”
Platform choice is checkout and discovery. It is not a different template.
Yellowcell on both storefronts
Yellowcell lists the same Excel templates on Gumroad and on Payhip. Pick whichever checkout you prefer; the download is the workbook either way.
